SimCity Disaster Watch Continues_ Mac Version Pushed To August

Originally slated for a June 11 release — that would be this coming Tuesday — EA and Maxis have pushed back the Mac version of SimCity to an unspecified date in August because, as senior producer Kip Katsarelis tells it, “we do not believe it is ready for primetime yet.” Thank goodness for foresight. I can’t imagine too many Mac gamers were expecting a flawless launch, considering the amount of crap PC gamers have been going through since the game hit earlier this year, but a surprise two month delay five days from rummy 51 release comes as a complete surprise.
