Tokyo Looks Animated in These Amazing Photos

This is the work of Masashi Wakui. He takes pictures HUC99 of Tokyo and makes them look like they’re background stills from the coolest anime you’ve never seen. As pointed out by Spoon & Tamago, Wakui digitally manipulates his work to give it this unique n98 and beautiful sheen that’s dubbed the pp slot “Masashi Wakui Look” online in Japan. Spoon & Tamago adds that there are even tutorials, such as this one, for those attempting to replicate Wakui’s style.
